iomart Group plc has today announced that it has satisfactorily concluded negotiations with the official liquidator, PricewaterhouseCoopers, appointed by OnCue Telecommunications Ltd, to offer continued ADSL service to OnCue’s existing Business Customers.
OnCue currently has over 600 installed Business ADSL lines connected to the BT network. It is expected that this customer base will migrate across to iomart’s ADSL network within the next 10 working days. Working with BT Wholesale & OnCue, iomart fully expects to effect a smooth migration with a minimal interruption to the end users current ADSL Service.
Both iomart & OnCue believe that this agreement will ensure that the current OnCue customers receive a continued quality ADSL service and will not be placed in the unfortunate position of having their existing service ceased and having to search for an alternative Internet connection.
Commenting on the outcome of the negotiations, Phil Worms, iomart Director Products & Services stated " We have acted swiftly to ensure OnCue’s end user customers have continuing ADSL service. The important factor was to ensure that customers did not face the prospect of disruption to their day-to-day business activities as a result of the cessation of their OnCue service. I believe that the arrangement we have made provides the best solution for customers in a very difficult business situation."
It is expected that the full integration of systems and processes will be completed by July 27th 2001.Subscribe to RSS Feed
