Appointment of Non-executive Director

iomart Group plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian

Ritchie as non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Ian will be appointed chairman of the group on 31st January 2008 at which time Nick Kuenssberg, the current chairman, will step down from the board after 8 years’ service.

Ian Cleland Ritchie, 57, has an impressive background in technology enterprise. Currently Chairman of Computer Application Services Ltd, Caspian Learning Ltd, Connect Scotland, and Scapa Technologies Ltd he is also a past President of the

British Computer Society. Ian was founding chairman of several technology companies, including Voxar Ltd (now part of Barco Ltd), a world leader in visualisation solutions for medical markets, Orbital Software Group plc (now part of Sopheon plc), Digital Bridges Ltd. (now part of Oberon Inc) and Sonaptic Ltd (now part of Wolfson Microelectronics plc), the leading audio technology development company.

Ian Ritchie, Non-executive Director of iomart, commented, "I am honoured to have been approached to join the board of iomart. The Company is in an exciting phase
